Digipreneurship University offers a complete suite of online assessment tools for elementary, middle and high school students to boost outcomes with valid data and reports to help you meet accountability requirements, pinpoint students’ challenges, and identify effective teaching strategies to help students improve.
Digipreneurs should notify your DigiU instructor and program administrators immediately if your laptop or Wi-Fi device is damaged, not working properly, lost, or stolen. We will help you troubleshoot the issue prior to activating your warranty.
Each participant that completes all program requirements will have access to free wireless internet service for one year. After that period, you are responsible for the cost of Wi-Fi access, but you may keep your assigned laptop/mobile device.

We do encourage members to bring smartphones/mobile devices throughout training. However laptops are provided by DigiU for you to familiarize yourself with your personal device. You are responsible for any personal items that you bring to class. DigiU trainers and affiliates are not responsible if your personal items are lost, damaged or stolen.
Back End – In WordPress, the back end is the administration area that users can sign into to add, remove and modify content. It is the area that you control and is not visible to your blog visitors.
Content – The ideas, topics, information, or statements on a webpage. Includes written words, video, audio, and graphics.
Content Management System (CMS) – Web-based applications for creating and managing Content of a website. WordPress is a content management system. Others are Joomla, Drupal, and Blogger.
Domain Name – A unique name that identifies a website. It’s the address used to access the website. The domain name for this site is thecontentpuzzle.com.
Front End – The part of your blog that visitors can see and interact with. It is visible to everyone, unlike the Back End, which is only visible to the owner.
Open Source – Software freely available for distribution and modification. WordPress is open source, as is OpenOffice, Gimp, and Linux.
Plug-in – A software tool added to your blog used to extend the features and customize the functions of your blog. They help tailor the functionality of your blog to your specific needs. Some are visible (Front End) and some can be seen only by you (Back End.) Like Themes, some are free, some are not.
Server – Computer with larger hard drive(s), more memory, and faster processors than yours, that provides data storage and processing to multiple users and computers.

Theme – The visual design of your blog. It defines and enhances the look and functionality of the entire blog. The code used to design the theme is stored separately from the content so it can be easily changed without losing or changing Content. Many predesigned themes are available, some free and some at a cost.
Web Host or Hosting – Web hosts are companies that provide storage space (web hosting) on a Server (see above) as well as internet access for websites. The web host stores all the pages of your website and makes them available to other computers.
