HackathonAlso known as a hack day, hackfest or codefest…is an event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers and project managers, collaborate intensively on software projects. Occasionally, there is a hardware component as well. Hackathons typically last between a day and a week. Some hackathons are intended simply for educational or social purposes, although in many cases the goal is to create usable software.
Our year round Digipreneur Hackathon Boot Camps are built around online/offline collaboration with talented tech professionals from across the country. We take technology beyond the classroom to introduce e-Learning and Webinars to digital ambassadors on current trends in web development, internet marketing, advertising, design, and other relevant fields like music and film. It’s really important for youth to get early exposure to their creative will and energy. We leverage Hack-a-thons to expose them to the vast diversity of work and opportunities around the world, to meet the people who are pushing the field forward, and to hear what it takes to succeed.
We are seeking graphic designers, videographers, engineers, programmers, and related tech professionals to give presentations at our summer programs and bootcamps to enhance this one-of-a-kind initiative.
Here are a few critical reasons you should consider attending or sponsoring a Tech Summit or Hackathon with us.
